Add Custom Post URL For New Post In Blogger

Blogger is the easiest way of building own websites. On blogger we can publish post but whenever we publish a new post, it automatically generates the URL for that post according to the title of the blog post. But many times you will see that URL, it will be incomplete and inconvenient title name generated by blogger.

Suppose, we have published any of the post with title as Change Post URL And Set Custom URL In Blogger then Blogger will automatically generate URL for that post like
http://blog.shivajisoft.com/2014/10/change-post-url-and-set-custom-url-in-blogger.html. It might possible that sometimes you will see that post URL like
http://blog.shivajisoft.com/2014/10/change-post-url-and-set-custom.html .

So it is very inconvenient to read and getting meaning from that and it is also not that much SEO friendly. So in this post we will see how to change Post URL and set custom user friendly and SEO friendly URL for that post.

For doing this job in easier way blogger introduced an option named Permalink in Post settings to edit the post URL. By using that we will set custom URL for post in blogger.

Suppose you are writing a New Post

Steps:
Step 1. First add title in title text box for post

Step 2. You will see Permalink Option at right side of blogger. Click on that.

Step 3. Check the Custom URL radio button

Step 4. Type the new post URL in Custom URL text field. After changing the URL just click on done.

Step 5. Finally write your post data/text and Click on Publish .
